Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation (AALDC) recently received a $3,000 grant at Investors Bank, 399 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217. Additionally, the grant will help further AALDC’s mission of furthering economic development, historic preservation, and cultural enrichment by providing scholarships to children in the community.

AALDC Executive Director Tammy Ben-Eliezer-Baxter commented, “The goal of the AALDC Youth Community Scholarship Program is to create opportunities for children and their families within our Brooklyn community. We have created long-lasting partnerships with several youth organizations and schools over the years and we look forward to continuing to grow the program.”
