46th Annual Atlantic Antic Festival Receives Green Light to Return this October in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, New York- July 1, 2021- The Atlantic Antic Festival presented by Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation (AALDC) is making its grand return this fall on Sunday, October 3, 2021, 12-6 pm, rain or shine. Brooklyn’s oldest and largest street festival spans 10 blocks through the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, and Downtown Brooklyn.

The AALDC is pleased to bring back the beloved festival to highlight the wares of our small businesses on Atlantic Avenue. In the past year and a half, businesses have experienced substantial economic hardships. The hope with the Atlantic Antic is to provide a profitable experience, with new and returning customers rediscovering each small business.

For 45 years, Atlantic Avenue businesses and vendors have electrified the street with a little something for everyone including food, clothing, jewelry, and more. Attendees can stroll the avenue with their families and friends to enjoy their favorites such as street corn, crepes, lemonade as well as handmade clothing, jewelry and so much more!

Vendors that are interested in selling their merchandise can view and complete the 2021 Vendor Application by visiting https://atlanticave.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/2021-Atlantic-Antic-Vendor-Application.pdf

The Atlantic Antic Main Stage and Community stage features diverse entertainment. In previous years, the stages’ lineup included belly dancers, R&B local musicians, children’s dance performances, and drumming. Local musicians and acts who are interested in performing on one of the stages are encouraged to contact pr@atlanticave.org.

We encourage everyone to be fully vaccinated by October 3rd. If you plan to attend, and are not vaccinated, please wear a mask at all times. We encourage mask wearing for all merchants and vendors as a precaution. Maintaining six feet of distance and using hand sanitizer will be encouraged during the festival for all participants and attendees. We will continue to update and revise our guidelines to address the health conditions in the days and weeks leading up to our event.

Please come celebrate with us on October 3rd. The return of the Annual Atlantic Antic is special because the community can once again come together to celebrate the community, cultures, tradition, and food, all in one place.
